Mineral Diplomacy

From mineral endowment to negotiating leverage.

Endowment does not translate automatically into influence. This vertical studies how states convert mineral positions, across supply, processing and demand, into diplomatic leverage: bilateral minerals partnerships, plurilateral frameworks, resource statecraft and the enforceability of the agreements that result.
